How long has burnout lasted for you in NH?

For me it always lasts several months, but I’ve been like this with all animal crossing games xD

I'm bad with telling time so I can't actually remember how long it has been. I just know it has been VERY long.
I never finished my island. I never landscaped and there's a bunch of furniture scattered around for no real reason. None of my players have their homes fully paid off. There are flowers everywhere. There are other items laying around due to lack of storage space. I already participated in every holiday at least once. I got the DLC but couldn't find the motivation in me to finish it. I didn't hate the DLC, I just got burned out from how long decorating a house takes.

I'm going to guess the last time I really felt like playing was when I got the Sanrio Amiibo cards, back in Christmas 2021. I probably stopped playing a few months later?

I either play it every day for several hours or not at all for months, no in between LOL

Looks like a year and a half for me. July 2021 was the last time I played daily. However my wife picked the game back up about a week ago so I've been getting online and helping out. I'm even trying to finish my critterpedia once and for all. Looks like I just got 3 fish and 5 deep-sea creatures to go, however only 1 of the 8 is available this month. Who knows if I'll ever complete it with half of them not showing up again until September

I stopped playing around mid-December 2021 after I finished my last villager in HHP and the updates dried out
