Bells (or TBT) is the main currency used for this site! You can buy collectibles and backdrops in the shop with it, or you can send it to other users as a form of payment for services and other items, or just to donate/give away! You earn a bit every time you make post, and the number you get depends on the length of the post. Editing posts make you lose TBT.So uh...quick question...what are bells, eggs, and seashells used for here on the site?

Everything @ZeldaCrossing64 said is true! Eggs are temporary and you will see a variety of temporary currencies like silver bells during last years Christmas!Bells (or TBT) is the main currency used for this site! Seashells are a bit different, you get 10 when you first make an account, and you get another 10 on your 2nd aniverrssary of joining the TBT forums. You can use these as alternatives for things like username changes if you're short on TBT. Keep in mind that there is currently no other way to obtain seashells!
Eggs is the temporary currency used for the latest easter egg hunt event that happened recently, it was used to buy limited-edition eggs.
Also, editing posts will make you lose or gain TBT whether you add more words or take away words from the post. It doesn’t always make you lose bells. So uh...quick question...what are bells, eggs, and seashells used for here on the site?
