I just recently hit 1000 hours playing animal a crossing new horizons!

I was playing just now and went to move furniture and Bangles photo is on an antique end table. On the back is her name, her birthday and favorite saying

I’m constantly amazed at some of the touches and time is really put into this game. Any other neat experiences?

Its nothing new to me. I spent 4,000 hours on my old save file back in 2021 before I deleted my main island and I am still discovering a lot of new things in this game. Like I recently discovered that when you scan an amiibo in The Roost the villager who used to live on your island will actually remember you.

I never use umbrellas but last week I randomly decided to on a rainy day ... I noticed that, when you're holding an umbrella and you enter a building, it makes a sound when you close it up ... When you exit again, it makes a different sound of the umbrella opening up ...

Two years after playing every day since launch and there are still tiny things I'm discovering !!

Love that sound irl, and the smell of an umbrella is nice too. 🌂
wish I owned one.... someday.

One thing I absolutely love about AC is that the graphics continue to be appealing throughout the years. ACNH at it's finest! so far

I hadn’t thought about that but hats true. I just started noticing the difference in the fish shadows where you can see additional fins and such moving in the water. Example Talapia

Oh that’s interesting!!!! I haven’t had that happen yet!
4000 hours!? Wow! I thought about restarting an island but June hit so more was to be done. I just recently got my golden slingshot so was exciting I’ve decided to keep going!

Just noticed yesterday in the airport there is a monitor up at the left corner with flight arrivals and departures.

I went to move a villager's house the other day, and Tom Nook actually let me know they were "not feeling well." Turns out they were sick at home, so I wasn't able to move their house that day. :O

That’s actually interesting. I’m glad they’re entitled to rest when they aren’t feeling well. It shows they really are cared for as villagers.

1000 Hours is amazing I feel like I have played over 1000 hours then I check and its just like 800 or something haha

That's a pretty cool feature I do like all the hidden little details in this game I hope I get to see and experience them.

It really doesn't feel like it, but this game has been out for 2 years. Kind of wild how the last two years for me have been kind of on fast-forward.

I've never really had the chance to play with others a lot. So it was pretty cool to see that the group could use Brewster's coffee table together and someone could pay for everyone's coffee.

I’ve always wanted to do that :( I wanna go have coffee with other players 😭

I feel so silly for writing this as one of the Able Sisters probably told me this, but only recently I discovered that the Able Sisters had a fitting room.

All of these things mentioned are pretty great! I'm sure a lot of people probably wouldn't say the same, but I'm still coming across new dialogue with villagers every now and again. Granted, I don't spam talk to my villagers, so that's probably why, but it's still really nice when something new pops up and I'm like "oh, that's so cute!"

I really want to try the coffee shop thing with some of the villagers I used to have on my island... there are a few that I miss.

I really do appreciate the little details they put into this game.
Actually I came here to talk about my visit with Teddy yesterday. I have visited villagers after the last update via their invite before, but yesterday I was just surprised at much effort was put into the experience. I don't remember it being this good. I was in Teddy's house for a few min and decided to leave after he voluntarily decided to tell me how his bed soaked up all his workout sweat and how it stank like gym clothes and how he likes to be enveloped in all of that gag. He wouldn't let me leave! He wanted me to stay. Needless to say I did. Then he wanted me to buy something in his house, then play a card game... and I was amazed at the interaction. lol. Then on my way out, he gave me a KK album, which I knew they did that after the update on the first visit they invite you to. But it was just really good. And I just really wish they had that kind of stuff on day 1 of launch. I think alot of people would have really enjoyed and appreciated that kind of experience during lockdown. But now I wonder if most people who played the game before, won't experience this now because they have moved on because Nintendo decided to do it the way they did. Maybe I am wrong and people will eventually go back to it and experience that because they have the game sitting on the shelf and had a long enough break, but that was just a cute thing to see.
