I thought there was a thread like this, but I can't find one that's recent, so I'll make a new one!

the question is, how many piercings do you have? bonus points if you mention what kind(s) of piercing(s) you have!

I only have two pairs of piercings—I guess four individual piercings, technically. I have two in each earlobe. I just got my second lobe piercing done last night and I love it! I'd been thinking about it for a long time, and I was honestly feeling scared because I knew it would hurt, but it definitely wasn't too bad. it was just a very quick and sharp pinch, and then it burned a tiny bit. but it looks great, and now I can wear two pairs of earrings at once hehehe ☺️💜
(also fun fact, I got my first lobe piercing when I was about 3 weeks old!!)

I don't plan on getting any more though, I've never been super into body art for myself. I don't even have any tattoos, nor do I plan to get one. I do think that lobe piercings look nice on me though~

I have one pair - I got my ear lobes pierced at 12 years old. I don’t want any more piercings than that though, it hurt for days, way more than I was expecting it to. I think I just have a really low pain tolerance 😂 but I don’t fancy going through that again. Piercings don’t really appeal to me anyway, earrings can get annoying

i have a ton of piercings and can't seem to stop getting them tbh. i have double earlobe, double helix, tragus and industrial piercings in my ears, and nostril, septum and vertical labret piercings on my face. i'm planning to get my navel done next, and then two inner eyebrow piercings as what will likely be my final ones.

Currently all my piercing holes are grown over so I have none. I had a septum and 2 holes on each ear lobe

Currently I have four in one ear and two in the other, but I'd like to get more in the future!

I used to have two more lobe piercings, but they were done by Claire's (evil) so I let them close when I started stretching the ones below them. I'd kinda like a nose ring at some point, but I'm scared to take care of it LOL

I have none and I probably won't get any. I have sometimes considered getting a septum piercing but I dunno. I've never personally been interested in getting ear piercings.

i have three pairs, so six in total :3
first pair were when i was younger (can't remember how old i was,) second pair was in freshman year of college i think, and my third pair were in my first year of college

i've always wanted to get a helix but could never muster up the courage for it, plus the timing was never right 😔

When I was younger I had my ears pierced, and wore studs and small gold hoops. But…Idk. It felt like a hassle, and since I had gym most days in school, I wasn’t allowed to wear them in gym, and just kinda stopped wearing earrings. I still have the holes, though they’re small.

I don’t do any jewelry, really— bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc. It sucks because they can be quite elegant, but I hate how they feel.

Oh, and anything in my nose is out of the question. I would be nervous every time I sneezed. And nothing near my brows either; that would feel weird.

Maybe one day I’ll get a colorful little tattoo of a hummingbird drinking from a flower, but I’m not sure if I can handle it.

I have one set of lobe piercings that I got done spontaneously at Claire's when I was eight years old (still surprised my mom allowed that). I don't really wear earrings anymore though, mainly because I lost most of them 😅

I'd like to get another set of lobe piercings, and maybe a nose or eyebrow piercing. I was considering a snake bite piercing for a while, but after some research, I don't think it's for me.

I only have my ears pierced and it's just one time in each ear, I am surprised they are still pierced since I do not wear earrings all that much anymore. When I did wear earrings I really wanted to have a second set of piercings in my ear but I am glad I never did that since I wouldn't make use of them now.

Twelve.

I used to have 20. My surface piercings rejected after a couple of years, a number of the ones on my ears developed keloids and I needed surgery to remove them, and then I took my lip piercing out when I started dating my partner. It's not that she didn't like it, but rather she wears a lot of interesting textured shirts/dresses and it kept snagging on her clothes when I hugged her.

Just four, two in my right ear and two in my left. I use to want more when I was younger (facial type), but now if anything I'd maybe just do one more on each ear.

I don't have any. Even when I was at school and everyone seemed to have their ears pierced, it never appealed to me!

Never had any. I like going natural. Natural because I am a snake 🐍

Technically I have 3 - I have my lobes double pierced and then my tragus!

I had a helix piercing at one point. I loved it sm but after having it for about two years it started to get really irritated all of a sudden. (I think it was my change in shampoo? It was also causing some scalp issues at the time)

At this point, the piercing itself seemed fully healed and I had taken out the earring multiple times in the past, so I thought it would be okay to take it out and let the irritation settle. But after a few days went by, when I tried to put my earring back in it wouldn’t fit.. it closed up on me :(

I haven’t gone to get it re-pierced because the healing part was so painful and tedious and I do NOT want to start all over again lol.

I have been getting that piercing itch tho, so I may go get my earlobes pierced for a third stack instead 😂

I have none. I'm hoping to get my ears done sometime in the future, and maybe then an eyebrow. Idk yet though, I might never get one, but at the moment those are the ones I want.

7 if counting each individually!

I have my lobes double-pierced, plus my helix on my left ear and two in my forward-helix on my right. However I removed the ones from my forward helix years ago, and since those earrings are thick I can't get them back into the holes anymore. It was always hard to see them anyways though since my hair covered it so might not be worth getting repierced (piercing is very expensive in Japan and it needs to be done by a medical clinic, personally I would trust a piercing shop more anyways)

When I was little I got both my ears pierced but nothing after that. I only wear earrings on special occasions, maybe once a year, so I could probably do without. But when I do put earrings on I feel pretty, so I guess it's good to have them 😊

Right now I wear three pieces of jewelry - two earrings in my right earlobe and one in my left, though I do technically have more piercings that I either don't wear anymore or have closed up. At one point I had six piercings in my left ear (four in the lobe and two in the cartilage) and three in my right ear (all lobe) though all but the first two holes in each lobe and one of the cartilage holes have closed up. I did all but the first two lobe piercings by myself with a safety pin, rubbing alcohol, and ice, which I definitely don't recommend. Always go to an actual piercing shop for piercings and please don't ever let a poorly-trained mall jewelry store employee come at you with a piercing gun! I wish more people knew how harmful those things are.

I also used to have a more "edgy" body piercing that I took out at age 19. It was a fun experience I suppose but doesn't really match who I am anymore.
