Since the spike is always 8 times Joan's price, you always make 700% profit when there is a spike.

For this reason, the number of turnips bought doesn't matter; it's the amount of bells invested that matters.

I invest 1.65 million bells each Sunday.

....And then you make a lot more then that, I do the same thing.
