(I’m referring to your avatar/player character in the game, not the animals.)

I enjoy cooking in the game, and some of the food actually looks yummy, so I try to feed my villager at least once a day lol. In the past I would eat a lot of peaches or coconuts, but now that I can cook, it’s a lot more fun. I also like getting some of the food and drinks at the cafe (which I named “Mother Coconuts” from Impractical Jokers) in Happy Home Paradise.

I very rarely feed my character because I don't want to accidentally break a rock or lift a tree lol and if I do feed them it's usually coffee or a raffle food item. I don't cook much in game.

Even though I love cooking I don’t feed my character very often. Usually just when I am moving trees and rocks. The food I cook is either used for decorating or gifted to villagers. I do try and get a coffee once a day.

On my island, I put a toilet outside (originally to shock my villagers) but now I use it a few minutes after eating so I don’t destroy any rocks.

That’s a good idea. I might have to make a nice outdoor bathroom area.

only when i need to do some tree rearranging or rock smashing. Or if I need trees right at that moment, i’ll eat some food and go to an island and get trees. Other than that never, she don’t need food.

Since is not necessary, just when i'm working on my island.

I just prepare food to collect them or put on a Kitchen i'm going to start.

I don’t feed them at all because this isn’t the sims and it doesn’t really matter. I fed them twice since starting my island. I don’t like force breaking rocks unless they are actually in my way, so I don’t have a reason to to feed my character. I also don’t care for my rock locations so long as they aren’t in my way, so there’s that.

I don’t do this every day but sometimes when I boot up the game I really want to just pretend like I’m living that life completely. It sounds weird I know but I put my character in her PJs and put her to bed, to wake up and do a morning routine just like I do in RL. It’s kinda comforting. On those day, I feed her breakfast and then go to loo before I leave the house so I don’t end up breaking rocks or trees.

I try to not feed my characters too often because, you know......sometimes accidents do happen.

I only feed my player characters if I need to restock materials and want to break a rock after fully harvesting rocks on Nook Miles Islands or Kapp'n's mystery islands, or if for some reason I need to move a tree on my island.

That said, though I look at it differently, I do have them visit The Roost daily.

only when i do it accidentally or i want to dig up and relocate a tree/break a rock, so... not very often haha. i prefer to keep my fruits and crops for cooking and planting, and my cooked dishes for decoration, so i don’t feed my rep unless i need the energy.

After all this time, I didn't know you could remove the food buff this way!

I like cooking the DIY recipes to make food for decoration, but usually I don't feed my rep. Although, I've been moving and re-planting a lot of trees the last couple of days, so I've been snacking on a lot of peaches. I could probably make something more interesting instead!

Honestly, I discovered the toilet part by accident…I didn’t know you could go to the bathroom in the game! It’s kinda funny.

I don't feed them meals often but I always carry around the handheld food items like donuts & coffee! I'm super indecisive with the balance of nature on my island so It's really handy to have coffee to sip on whenever I want to move trees. And even when I'm not consuming them, they're nice to have on hand when I want to pose in photos with my villagers.

How do you get donuts in the game? I see my animal neighbors with them or soup bowls, but I don’t know how to get them.
