• Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.

How often do you feed your villager?

How do you get donuts in the game? I see my animal neighbors with them or soup bowls, but I don’t know how to get them.
You can get the donuts from Redd's raffle in Harvey's plaza! There's still no way to get the soup bowls tho... really unfortunate

I think I got donuts from either Redd’s Raffle at the fireworks show or his Raffle box at Harv’s. Sadly you can’t get the soup.

They may not be "eating" it, but I have plates of food as furniture in my kitchen. I can assume they're well fed.

Possibly Redd, Sunday evenings in August.

Uh . . . not often. I feel a little guilty now. I pretty much feed Ballad pears when it's time to landscape. I've cooked a few food items for decorating purposes but I rarely eat them. I kind of just forget! The cooking and eating don't really serve a purpose in this game; if they were going to add it in, I almost wish we had to cook a meal at the start of each day or something.

Pretty much never unless I need to move trees around or break rocks. I'll just say it's because my island rep is on a diet.

Same as what others have said, I nearly always only eat (usually some fruit) when I need to move trees around my island and other then that I mostly avoid it so that I don't accidentally break any rocks as it took ages to get them all together. I enjoy learning and cooking the recipes but generally only use these for decoration inside my players homes and around outdoor eating areas on the island.

Only when I need to break a rock or remove a tree. Its also not even real food, just coconuts or other fruits I finds around. Or vegetables, whichever is closest and easiest for me to find.

I never really fed my villager once all my trees and rocks were in place. Because like many others, I'd be really frustrated if I actually broke a rock and hard to start the entire process over again.

I only feed my character if I need to break a rock or dig up a mature tree to relocate it. I love all of the food options though, and I love how they fill your hungry(?) meter entirely, rather than eating fruits one at a time to fill it. That being said, I can’t imagine a time when I’d need 10 instances of rock breaking or tree moving. So, I end up “using the bathroom” so that the rest of it goes away.

Only when I need to destroy rocks (yes I destroy the rocks) or other terriforming. I make him fries.

But I love cooking, however all the food I make, I give out to the villagers. Usually ten of each dish,

My villager gets a coffee each morning when I start playing and some fruit and vegetables when I begin shaping my island (lots of moving trees around). When I harvest crops every couple of days, I make a dish or two with them, and if it's one I already have in my inventory, it usually goes to whichever of the animals I encounter wandering around the island.
