How soon can you start moving in villagers via Amiibos?

Question in the title. I assume it's after you get the campsite, but does anyone know what you need to do to unlock/build that and around how long it might take?

One of the reviewers talked about it. Sounds like as soon as you get a campsite possibly. Someone mentioned Nook letting you use amiibos to invite villagers to visit with amiibos.

I recall a reviewer saying that the Town Hall unlocked about one week into the game. After that, I’m not sure how long it’ll take to get the campsite specifically, but it should be in the first 1-3 weeks.

I saw in a video on youtube that the campsite is actually on the crafting menu. So I guess once you get the recipe you can. I wish I could tell you what video, but I can’t remember.

That could still mean that you’ve unlocked the recipe and gotten it from Nook though.

Oh wait I think I recall seeing that too.. I wonder if once you unlock PWPs you can just find them in your crafting menu? Not sure, I guess we'll just have to see!

I don’t want to lead you the wrong direction, but it feels like I saw it really early on—I’m talking footage from last year. Maybe even from one of the early Directs?

I know i saw it in a video after the reviews came out, but I skimmed at all the videos I watched since then and could not find it.

The campsite is the first thing I want to unlock. I can't wait to move my faves in.
