How to cycle with dreamies and not lose a single one, plus get weeds!!

Weeding day is just about here...if your looking to get weeds fast this ia a good method to do it :) Quick tip before you stop your mover pick up all clovers to maximize the weeds you will get on your next load rinse and repeat! :)

A friend of mine proof that TT a year straight only get you 50 weeds max, but if you did the TT for each month and withing 12, you can get 700+ weeds (proof). I not sure if this already in your guide, stopping a villager allow you to TT how care you desire without losing anymore, not even need a new save file (tried myself). As long as you stop someone today and do the TT you can TT forward a month, stop someone again, TT another month and weeds will add up =x is best not to have beautiful ordinance activate too~

I had the worst cycling method and made a lot of rookie mistakes. Then I decided to keep one of my dreamies in my cycling town until a spot opened up in my main, and it got even worse. This really helped a lot, thank you.

Yes I know you don't need the new save file to go the year after stopping someone, but some may not feel comfortable to make that year jump at first so I wanted to make it so everyone could feel comfortable about it in their own way :) I end up with about 2,100 weeds in I think 15 years. Thanks for the info!

has anyone tried this with the in-game clock with success?
Most of it can be done with the in-game clock, until you need to check who's moving out. You could technically set the clock to like 5:55AM on the day before a villager should be in boxes, save and quit then start a new game after the in-game clock has hit 6 AM and check who's in boxes (I think). System clock works a lot faster though.

for some reason, no one moves out for me...

My guess is your on the beautiful ordinance correct? After you stop your villager, on the next load load your mayor. Do not place and save a new character, then your mayor. Just the mayor. the next load use the new save file to scout but not save.

that's what i did. i know that after you stop a villager from moving you are free too TT however far so. i tted with my mayor, then i used 3ds clock and new char a couple loads to see if anyone moved. i was forever at 10 no matter if i went a year, a month, etc. i checked back with my mayor file and while the time did change, the time lapse didn't seem to register for me. the villagers didn't forget me and no one was moving. i guess i'll just do my old method ^^;
