Hi guys. So, um, I am very poorly versed in anything graphic related and MS Paint is the only graphics program on my laptop. I know it's The Worst. I'm wondering if it's even possible to properly work with the sprites commonly found in signatures using Paint?
When I copy a sprite directly from the tumblr page and paste it onto a picture, it ends up having a black background. When I paste it into a Word document and then into paint, it has a white background (yeah idk why I would even try this). My goal is for it to be transparent. I tried to save one of the sprites and noticed I could only save it as a gif - ???? I don't understand why it's a gif when it's not moving? Anyway I went to some website to convert it to a png, but when I c&p'd that into the picture it still had a background.
My question is, is Paint just too unsophisticated for this, or is there actually a way to make the sprites transparent that I'm just missing? I'm not looking to download any other program at the moment because this is really the only thing that I would use it for. Thanks for reading
