I've said this like a 100 times now but here it goes again. I've played both TTing and not TTing and I find not TTing is more my style. I find reaching certain accomplishments is much more satisfying and that I get bored a lot less quickly.
I was originally going to not time travel at all, but after hearing about how slow the game feels initially according to several reviews, I’ve decided I’ll time travel for the first in-game month or so, because there’s no way I’m waiting for the bare basics to unlock in a week with all the stressful things going in the world right now.
i'm not sure if i'll time travel day 1 or so, or a few weeks or so into the game, but i definitely do intend to time travel a day ahead and back to current date to finish facilities and stuff like that~ depending what the supposed penalties are too though.
My initial plan is to not TT as I had in past games, as it gives little time to enjoy the game when busy rushing through each day. Maybe down the line I might though. Not keeping any promises.
No and I think that it would feel more exciting to wait and experience the different seasons when the times come instead of jumping ahead and encountering it all in a day or two.
i don't want to time travel in acnh. the only reason i did it in acnl and accf is because i felt like i was never tied down to my town. since i'm hoping to make my town on the day the game officially releases, i'll want to keep my game almost forever. i feel like time traveling will cause me to have no attachment to my island, which i definitely don't want. i also thing it'll drain my bells, and i hate having to fish or bug catch for hours on end. my sisters will also have a character on my island and may play from time to time, and i don't want to possibly ruin their experience either. if i miss a store's opening by like an hour or so then i may just go back for that, but i won't play the game like it's stardew valley, for example.
To be honest, I know I say I won't time travel, but I'll probably get bored and do it.
But I really don't want to, honestly. I want to take my time with the game and not time travel because when I do, it usually ruins the fun/experience of the game for me.
