this sounds kinda stupid but my favorite part in ACNL is the relationships between your character and the villagers!! it's never happened to me before but i think it's awesome when your villagers you're close friends with just come and visit randomly, give you presents, and all of the other stuff that happens when you have a good relationship with your villagers.
