So I was just browsing the New Horizons site briefly, and something caught my eye. The Villager's net -- could this be the Golden Net?

I think the star shape is cute! I think that it would be nice to be able to have a bunch of different styles. I want to be able to catch bugs, but make it fashion!!

Good catch! I've looked right at that picture several times on the website and it didn't even click with me that the net was different! D'oh!

I'd be content with that as the golden net (if this game will have golden tools) but I think like others here, I'd be much happier if this was an indicator that we will be able to customize our higher quality nets some!

i don't think it's the golden net. it's not relfective or shiny enough.

it looks like we get a lot more different kinds of tools this time around and the star net is one of my favorites.

The golden tools seem wayy too overrated. So i'd take that net any day.

Also I'd take silver tools any day as they're underrated as heck.

I remember seeing a net with striped netting as well--either they've added a ton of new variations of tools that have different uses, or there's some level of tool customization. I hope it's the latter; I often find myself switching out tools for an umbrella while I'm walking around so that they don't clash with my outfits, but it'd be a lot more convenient to just be able to carry a matching tool.

I don't think that it's the golden net either, this time around there are variations of tools, like the kiddy watering can.

I'm glad there are more net/tool options now. You can catch fish and bugs in your own style and that's cute. I personally will be walking around watering all my plants with this and no one can stop me.

We can change the shape of our nets.

So far I've seen triangle, circle and star. We can prolly have any shape golden net we want to suit our personalities ☆〜（ゝ。∂）

Forgot to add, this may not be golden? It looks yellow to me, since we have shine on all materials now I'm sure the golden net will have a golden shins to it and look golden ╭︎( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑
