Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

I haven't played the original either, but I am interested in this one. I'm not sure if I'll get it or not yet, but I'll be keeping an eye on it~

I really liked fire emblem warriors, and I'm just starting the first one, but I like that kind of games so I'm interested in this one.

One of the Switch's better franchises and titles! I can't wait for this game! I wanted to play as the Champions for a while now and Mipha is my fav! Plus, it's canon story wise so this will be interesting!

I see myself purchasing this since it's part of the franchise, but I never played Hyrule Warriors because I wasn't a huge fan of the gameplay. Once I play this version, my mind may change though since it has a story behind it :')

Definitely looking forward to the BOTW sequel more than anything, and I'm also hoping for a Skyward Sword remake in the future

Super late to the party

Haven't touched Hyrule Warriors or Fire Emblem Warriors, but have played other Dynasty Warriors games. They're fun for awhile but I quickly lose interest unless there's something extremely captivating about them beyond general gameplay. I love the style, music, and characters of Breath of the Wild and the trailer looks great; however, that isn't a 'tell-tale' for if the final product will be worth an immediate buy.

If there's a lot of story build on what we've learned from Breath of the Wild, that's something I'm interested in and it would make a decent 'pick up and play' game.

Hope there's a few new tracks!

I'm excited for it but I don't know if it's a type of game that I would like.. I wasn't really interested in Hyrule Warriors before.. I may watch some gameplay of it on youtube first and then decide.

That being said...
I played the og BOTW and some other Zelda games (never beat any of em besides botw, tho xd) and they're all amazing games. huge fan of the series overall. I would be astonished if this new game would even dip below that level of epic-icity; in fact I expect it to (possibly) be better than some of the other Zelda games. The fact that the fighting is in a classing rpg style is really cool and unique to the series and honestly ... i kinda like it (then again, maybe I won't, but whatever). and it's going to be ~so lit~ to see Hyrule 100 years ago!!
...Yeah. I have high hopes for this game lol

I am definitely interested in it and I have played the original Hyrule Warriors and it was fun but I kind of just stopped after a while. Since this is tied to BOTW, I want to play it, but I would love to see more game play before deciding so.

Like she literally looks like zelda but with white hair and contacts. She's supposed to be brash and stern. Her new design doesn't suit her at all.

I guess it's because since this is 100 years earlier, she was maybe an apprentice? I can definitely see what you mean; people even thought she was Paya lol. But her fighting-style is definitely suits her well, she looks like a lot of fun!

So...we got another Hyrule Warriors game. Interesting. I never played the original set (it didn’t interest me too much) but this seems interesting (as it is tied into the canon games). What do y’all think of it?

I haven't played the earlier versions, but i've played dynasty and samurai warriors and it's really just that with a zelda theme so i'm enjoying it immensely so far!
