Nah I am only addicting to making Clients homes fit with the theme and taking good pictures. I don't ever use the Polishing feature.

I've messed around with shining stuff just to see what it will look like, but I always take it off because I like things to be plain! But I do really enjoy the option to do it, and I especially love just how many different effects there are. I'm sure in the future I will definitely use some of the alternative shine effects (like the gloomswirl) in my own home!

I keep forgetting about it, but I honestly don't see a need for them. Perhaps there will be something but I find them so distracting.

I have used it on a few things. The brr effect on ice objects or steam on fire. Chatting gives some life to using clothing as ‘people’.

Basically, after you go the HHP, you will be gvien option to shine stuff. Then you can go to your own house. Click on "L" i think..its that button on top that is not the ZL and then you will change into scrubs with bandana and a cloth and you can polish away by holding down A .until it shines

I'm addicted to "effecting" everything, not just shining. I love that the ice furniture can have that chill effect, the hot ramen having a steam effect, the mad scientist machines having a zap effect. All the effects in this game are brilliant.

I don't use the polishing ability and effects too often, but if I think there's an effect that'd be appropriate in a certain room or with certain furniture then I'll use it.

I use it for stuff that is made out of metal mostly, but beside that not too often. I think it can be distracting if overused.

I personally don’t use it much because sometimes the effect is distracting. I wanna use it on villagers just for kicks though. Dang I wish we could shine them. Lollllll

I am addicted to getting a perfectly symmetrical layout to my island (with waterscaping and cliffscaping). I have been working for months on the setup of my island and haven’t gotten bridges or inclines yet… the layout has to be perfect!

i’m only able to use the polishing feature at paradise planning atm, but it’s definitely pretty addicting! i haven’t used it too much, but my favourite use of it so far was polishing a stack of tires in chester’s vacation home.
