I'm afraid of fire (arsonphobia), as it mercilessly destroys even the most worthy of items and people.
I'm afraid of bugs (entomophobia) (especially moths, butterflies and skippers/aka I have lepidopterophobia), as they're unpredictable, have a very scary and ugly appearance, and occasionally have painful stings or unpleasant odours as well.
I'm afraid of the dark (nyctophobia) because of several reasons, including bugs suddenly crawling up to me, or worse, into my nose, mouth or ears.
I'm afraid of being touched (haphephobia) (with the exception of my hands), as it makes me feel uncomfortable, agitated and angry.
I'm afraid of people from my past who have done negative things to me, which may be where my haphephobia came from.
I'm afraid of death (thanatophobia), especially if it comes to me, and the whole thought of suddenly dying makes me paranoid, extremely sad and in tears.
I'm afraid of becoming blind, because I have such a good eyesight and due to that, I'm a very visual person as well as a visual thinker, and I often use my sight when using my imagination. The thought of losing that makes me feel the same way as death, though death is definitely worse.
...long story short, I'm a real scaredy-cat who's basically afraid of everything.
I'm afraid of death (thanatophobia), especially if it comes to me, and the whole thought of suddenly dying makes me paranoid, extremely sad and in tears.
Me too... at its best I get really anxious and find something to quickly distract myself, at its worst I wake up screaming (thankfully my husband is very understanding lol). It’s been happening since I was about 10 years old.
