I am so confused....

I posted another thread about how to upload an animated gif ( which I figured out Thanks to everyone who helped! )
and one about doing a spoiler ( Again Thanks to everyone who helped ) but I put those two together and it dosen't work! When I put in the animated gif in a spoiler it just comes up this little image sprite thing I cant even click on!
So my question is how do you put an animated gif in a spoiler properly? Thanks in advance!!
BTW in my sig it comes up in a URL but i'd prefer it didn't. I would like it to be a full image
that's my question if it makes things more clear!
