I can't be the only one who feels like this, right?

Definitely know how you feel. My desire for perfection with my town with so much new knowledge of the games from joining these forums made me reset my town A LOT. The smallest thing would get under my skin, and cause me to reset.

New Horizons appears to pretty much mitigate all these issues, so here's hoping we don't restart every two months!

Well there was that but I'm ok with the town imperfections (although I am hyped for town building)

I had to restart my game early after release because my game got corrupted and again after one of my siblings erased my game. The last time was when I had to switch to a different 3ds and the game didn't transfer over (had to buy a new copy)

I'm not good with having to restart things and animal crossing became more of a grind

This is the first time I've ever actually been hyped for a new Animal Crossing game. My family didn't have a GameCube when I was a kid, and I didn't have a DS or a Wii until long after I'd moved away from home. When New Leaf was announced, I had still never played an Animal Crossing game, and was far more excited about Pokemon X and Y at the time. I didn't play New Leaf until a couple months after its release, so until now I'd never watched the trailers or waited excitedly for the release date.

And now... Honestly it consumes 90% of my waking and sleeping thoughts, ngl. I am so excited.

Yes i am so hyped! I try to keep away from 'spoilers' as much as possible, so i can experience everything in the game for the first time with my villager.

Ohh im so looking forward to bond with my villager and neighbours and new people on this site! A whole new world is going to begin. Best time ever.

This is so relatable to me. ;_;

Agreed! When the direct was announced I picked up my copy of NL because I was so excited to play, but with the older looking graphics and stale dialogue it just seems a bit repetitive now. Especially if you?re kind of ?endgame? and don?t have a lot to do other than work on dailies or landscaping.

I?m really excited for the opportunities that will be available to us in NH and I?m sure it?ll be a game that will keep us entertained for years to come - maybe even longer than new leaf did.
