I found a rare island?

Tonight I found an island that appeared to be Scorpion island (similar to tarantula island), plus bell rocks - I got maybe 60,000 bells from the rocks. I would like to tell whoever also did not know this - there is also a Scorpion island. I was so unprepared I was only "island-hopping" for crafting materials.

I'm pretty sure tarantula island is replaced with scorpion island since tarantulas no longer spawn. That's what I thought anyway. I could be wrong?

It's pretty rare... I've gotten it 3 times so far... All when it was tarantula island...

I love getting that island. I've only had it a few times, but it's a nice +600k or so from an inventory of scorpions + selling to Flick. I usually just get to 99k bell inventory and fill up on scorpions rather than doing all the money rocks.

Yeah I never knew that island had money rocks on it lol. Too busy with the tarantulas. Haven’t gone island hopping since May started so I’ve never seen it with scorpions.

i've seen that island! the game had pity on me and gave me it after a particularly bad night it takes a lot longer to set up than rancho island did

welcome to what us southern hemisphere players had to start with... a more claustrophobic rare attack bugs island

I haven't yet seen that island. Nor the tarantula/scorpion one. I think my luck is just terrible. Haha.
