I found it, i found my game cartridge! I am so relieved!!! 
It was still on my table but had slipped between some things. I can relax now i know my town isn't lost. Updating my dream town oh and Biskit, Lucy and Pashmina are still there AND Astrid is moving in! I had her in my campsite some time ago and was sad i couldnt move her in because my town was full but now she is! Yay
