I got a baby chicken! ;D

Aww, he grew up to be quite adorable indeed! His feathers are magnificent. ๐Ÿ’— I'm glad to know he was such a wonderful pet to you, and that he was so loved for so long. I'm so sorry for your loss. ๐Ÿ’—

Awww, sorry to hear about Tonto. How special it is that you came back to give us an update on him. That picture you posted of him is great, he looked majestic and I love that you were able to get him with his wings expanded. May his memory be a blessing.

Hi Bell Tree Forums, it's nearly been 10 years. I stumbled across this thread while looking for his official birthdate. My mother ended up naming him Tonto (From the Lone Ranger, not really the most culturally appropriate choice but it's what I came to know him as). He passed away this night. I wanted to post to show how big and handsome he grew. He was like a pet, would cuddle and sit on your lap when you came outside. Hopefully this is allowed since I realize this is an old thread, but here he was in his glory.

This is the best reason I've seen to bump a ten year old thread. Don't worry, there won't be any repercussions.

I'm glad you gave him a long and happy life. ๐Ÿ–ค

What a big and majestic bird. Like the others have said, you provided him with many years of love and happiness. I am not sure how long the average chicken lives, but you gave him a good life. I am sorry for your loss.

Thank you all for the kind words, they really mean a lot to my mom and I โค๏ธ It hurts to see him go but I know he was a happy rooster and lived a long life. I've got old prom and graduation pictures of me holding him, he became that much of a pet! I've got a few extra TBT I no longer have use for. If anyone is an artist or knows an artist who would want to sketch him I'd be happy to give away what I have left.

Thank you all ๐Ÿ’

You should check out the museum section. There are a lot of great artists here that take tbt for art services.

I'm sorry to hear about Tonto, at least he did live a good, long life. He was such an adorable baby!
