Hmm, JJ, I can't say I agree at all, although I definitely respect your opinion. I read through the review you posted by someone else, and I was just disagreeing with everything... The Wii controls are definitely more than an afterthought, and they work very well... I wouldn't go back to the Gamecube controls, never, although I do intend to pick up TP for GCN just to see how it works. He also goes on to say that OoT is the worst Zelda ever, and showers it with criticisms that I definitely do not agree with... bland art style? Awful dungeon design? Framerate issues? I'm just not going to comment at all. And as for TP having a horrible art style... I disagree as well. I found TP to have some of the best art in any videogame in a long time. Path of Radiance, in my opinion, has some of the best art in any videogame, but Twilight Princess exceeds even it... And the fact of the matter is, I have pretty high standards! Finally, as for Twilight Princess being repetitive... I ALSO disagree. I found the game to be extremely varied even though there were the traditional Water, Fire, and Forest temples. It still was different from OoT even though it had elements from that game... Basically, what it did was improve on OoT in every way, shape, and form, and I don't get how that's a bad thing. I love innovative titles, but I don't like when a title is innovative just for the sake of being different. If something is perfect, you don't necessarily have to mess with it, and that's kind of what I think about Twilight Princess. All it did was improve upon the already solid gameplay and graphical mechanics, but what it added was a phenomenal story that exceeds any other Zelda game... There are numerous plot twists, and even though the last villian is predictable, the story is still extremely gripping, and I played far more than any sane individual should just to see where the story would go.
