I have a suggestion

New posts deletes threads too quickly from new posts.

Now a thread that's gotten no recognition within 2 hours will never get any at all, because most people use new posts to look for new posts, instead of browsing sub-forums.

I'm suggesting that New Posts could work like the old New posts at 1.0, with threads staying on it for a longer time.

And not long from now, this thread will die and get removed from new posts, before staff can even look at it.

New Posts is just threads with posts that have been posted since you last visited the thread.

New posts displays all the new threads and new threads with posts since you last visited the forum, otherwise in the last 24h I believe.

You can edit this in the settings somewhere though.

I'm agreeing with this. I clicked a thread to check it then went back to new posts and nothing was there. Kind of annoying.

Never had this happen All new posts stay there unless I go off the site.

I don't know why but it happens to me quite often. I've learned to open new posts in new tabs.

this is what i thought the new forum did, from the first day.

if you've replied to a topic and there's no new replies, it gets taken off of your new threads/hidden. if you haven't replied to it, it's left on the new topics page, until you do.

or some such. dunno if that's whats going on, but would be kickass if it was.
