Resident Night Mare
OK, not living, breathing roommates (do the people in AC actually live and breathe? am I thinking too hard about this?). More like silent fashion assistants.
Yep, I'm talking about mannequins. I got my third one yesterday. Sable had given me one a while back, then Mable gave me one a few days ago because of all the bells I'd spent in the store. Yesterday, Labelle greeted me when I entered and told me that she was giving me one after I bought a hat. I guess you get one more from Kicks, at some point, although I'm far from spending enough in his store for that.
I would guess that each of the playable characters can get mannequins, so once my castle is completely paid off (I still have a couple of upgrades left), I should start cultivating relationships with Sabrina, Tabitha, and Theodora (oh, come on! I named the town Salem! what else would I name my characters?
). Of course, they'd pass those items on to the mayor (me!!!) for display in my house. Imagine the space it would free up in the closets to have 12 mannequins wearing full outfits? Kind of makes me wish I had something like that in my RL house!
In other news, I covered the areas before the Town Hall, Train Station, Re-Tail, and around the Town Tree with cobblestone. I don't really want to keep it that way, but it gives me guidelines for planting bushes. Once I have everything planted, I'll take up those areas again.
And, saving the best for last...
Isabelle told me last night that I have achieved a Perfect Town!!! She added the Town Hall renovation and Flower Clock to the list of PWPs. I am on my way to getting the golden watering can! I just know it!
