I finally got around to purchasing a copy of Animal Crossing Population Growing for the GameCube. So far it's been a blast of nostalgia, the game keeps constantly bringing me back to when I was like 7 years old, my husband also has been getting this feeling, to drive even more nostalgia down our throats the game came with its original manual and advertisements inside the Box, OH and A memory card. It's crazy how much this game has changed over the years and it's a lot of fun going back to the days of when maps had sections. Love this game!

That sounds so nice. I'm glad you're getting to enjoy it with your husband. I really want to get back into the original game somehow, but I don't really have the time right now.

I feel that honestly, that's how I felt for a long time, keep in mind though that the game will be around forever and you can always pick up a copy whenever you want, take your time :)

It's too bad that my first AC game was New Leaf. I feel like I'll never have nostalgic appreciation for the older games. I think that if I tried to play them, I would just be disappointed and compare it to NL. Kinda feels like I missed out :( I'm glad you're enjoying it!

I'm sorry you feel that way, but hey if you start playing ACPG now, ten years from now you can look back and feel nostalgic :)

I think I played an emulated version of it once or twice~
CF was the one that got me into the series and now NL is my fave
I remember renting CF at my local video store many, many years ago, those were the days.
