There are several things I feel I must disagree with you on.... but overall I hate the kids choice awards, it is almost always a bunch of kids using the computer for the first time, and they just vote for a name if it sounds familiar, and if you watch Nickolodeon, chances are you chose things that have been on it, which is why things like movies are normally at least decent. I cannot beleive Jonny Depp lost though, I can not get over how well he gets into his characters... you would think kids would love the drunken pirate...
for the voices in animated movies you shouldn't really judge by how good the movie was.... you need to say how good the voice was, and latifah was that one mammoth right? how is that not hilarious, though I never saw the movie, I am just going by the trailer.

This topic really disapointed me. First of all, these are your own opinions. Everyone has different opinions. And a lot of people that watch the KCA are 10, 11, 12 and so on. I am one of the people who voted, and I knew what I was doing, thank you very much. And what were you talking about? Everyone knows who A-Rod, LeBron James, and Tiger Woods are! There's no way Jason Lee could have won because it's a KIDS Choice Awards. Not many kids watch that show.
Well, those are my opinions. I don't think many people get that this is a chance for kids to vote for their favorite stars. <_<

Meh, it wasn't that good, imo.
Not a kid-friendly movie. But... It could have been nominated and been fine, seeing that the main actor from Speed was nominated a few years back, and that's rated R.

I don't think Borat (although hilarious) is kid friendly at all..... I would not be comfortable letting my kids watch that for the sheer fear of them imitating some of it.
and DF the kids aren't ******** they just lack crystallized knowledge, honestly you can't expect them to research their votes... that is why I trust things more like the Academy awards more, because the people judging are professional. The KCA is just a popularity contest for kids who watch Nick, thus giving Nickolodeon show and games and whatever a definite advantage.

Favorite Movie
The fact that they nominated Big Momma's House 2 was horrible. That movie sucked. Click was amazing, and they showed the clip of Sandler being the Hulk, which makes me laugh. Night at the Museum was bleh. PotC: Dead Man's Chest won, which made me happy. I still don't know why they nominated BMH2. That's okay with me. Pirates is good.

All the nominees were pretty good. Jack Black in Nacho Libre, which wasn't funny as Nick said it was going to be, was nominated and also did the speech thingy for the Wannabe Award. Johnny Depp was nominated, and should have won. Will Smith is a good actor in a good movie, but kids don't understand the meaning behind Pursuit of Happyness. Adam Sandler won, which made me happy too.

AAAAAAAAHHH. They nominated Ice Age 2, which sucked horribly. Cars is a good movie, but it lost. Over the Hedge is an awesome movie, but it lost. Happy Feet won. YAY. I love this movie. *huggles Mumble* WOOT! This movie pwned. Good music, good plot, I love this movie.

KIERA KNIGHTLY LOST. NUUUUUUUUUUU! Seriously, I can't believe she lost! Halle Berry lost as well, but her performance in Catwoman made me shake my head. Sarah Jessica Parker lost as well, but no kid watches her movies. Dakota... Fanning... won... This is a reason to find any kid who voted for her and punch them repeatedly. WHAT? KIERA KNIGHTLY LOST? To Dakota Fanning? *punches something*. Kiera's a very good actress, and Dakota....ugh.

Ashton Kutcher lost. Hah. Open Season was a horrible movie anyways. Julia Roberts lost, but Any Bully seemed terrible. Bruce Willis lost. Over the Hedge lost. Queen Latifa won somehow. Ice Age 2 was terrible. Over the Hedge should have won. Feh. Ice Age 2 WAS terrible.
