Where to get a new one?

BTW are there any items that can be replaced with the stylus until I get a new one? lol

I mean you can use your thumbs or fingers but IT'S FREAKING ANNOYING! Maybe because I'm not used to it.

You can probably get one at any gaming store. Can you use a mechanical pencil but without any led in it? That’s what I did.

Using your fingers is easy.
I rarely use the stylus.

It ends up scratching the screen.

eBay has a lot of 3ds/2ds styluses for sale.I recently bought a set of five for around $6.And yes,Jon Stackhouse,a 3ds/2ds can be scratched by a stylus but I just had a look at my original 3DS and it only has two very small scratches on the bottom screen after five years of heavy use.

Unless you have the "new nintendo 3ds" (the smallest ones), they should be pretty easy to find in stores or online.

Amazon/eBay are great.

If you're not too bothered about it being kept in your 3DS I'd totally recommend getting something chunkier than the default size they are so much more comfortable to hold.

I'm sure you could find some styluses online. As far as replacements go, I tend to use my fingers more often anyway. They're fine once you get used to them, and you don't have to carry around a small object that is so easy to lose.

I used a mechanical pencil without the lead as a temp too lol^ just make sure you don’t press too hard or it will scratch. It was just convenient for me cos I’d be doing an assignment or something and then switch to playing my game, all using that pencil lol.

You can find the original styluses for systems being sold here. [x]

Oh and you can also find some at a store that sells 3ds systems such as Walmart or Gamestop.

I'd use Amazon, and be sure to read plenty of reviews, and try to get an officially licensed one! There are plenty out there that will permanently ruin your screen (I speak from experience).

Go to any gaming store that sells Nintendo anything and they should sell styluses. Go buy one!

I can't remember, but didn't the original DS consoles come with a spare stylus?

I?ve ALWAYS used a mechanical pencil with the lead taken out. I can?t even remember the last time I had an authentic stylus, I?m pretty sure I lost it the first week I got my 3DS. Ever since, I?ve been using leadless pencils or my fingers to play ACNL. I don?t think it has any real impact, but games like Smash Bros would probably benefit from having an actual stylus lol.

Step 1: go to www.google.com, alternatively if you're using the Google Chrome browser you can type in the URL bar at the top of your screen.

Step 2: Search for ''Nintendo 3DS stylus replacements''

Step 3: Click on one of the Google shopping results

Step 4: Profit

Real talk never use ballpoint pens or anything like them because they can scratch up your screen real bad
Did that to my DSi lol

How would Smash Bros benefit from a stylus? I don't think I ever used the touch screen on Smash...
