i honestly really like isabelle - people think she?s adored for her role in the game but it?s never really been about what she does but instead she?s liked for her appearance and personality lol

and even though nook seems to be the face of the island, i?m just glad that isabelle still has a role at all lol

Lol, I don?t care much for Isabelle either. I?m glad Tom Nook has more of a role in this game. Isabelle is... okay, but I never felt the obsession with her. And honestly, she can be kind of annoying.

At first I really didnt like her that much. I think as a villager shes super cute but as a event type character you have to talk to for things shes just okay

I thought her design was super cute but she was marketed way too hard. I don't like that so many people view Animal Crossing as "the Isabelle game" because of that.
One thing that made me like her more is that she's not really a super cheerful busy bee 24/7. If you visit her in her RVs you'll find that work stresses her out and she's a lot more relaxed than Digby. She just has to keep up a happy face, so I'm glad she gets to be on an island this time.
Of course, that's not how most fans will depict her.

I don't really care for Isabelle. I would love to see Tom Nook be made the face of the series. Isabelle only came to the series in New Leaf and I find she is given way too much attention and is made to seem more important than Nook. Im glad she is coming back, but I would like her to be given a more background role compared to Nook.

Isabelle is okay. I don't hate her, but I also don't care all that much for her. Her character archetype just isn't the sort of thing I gravitate towards. She (in my opinion) is one of the blandest NPCs we have so I'm glad that Tom Nook is taking on the leadership role this time around.

Tom Nook is best man.

I do like Isabelle. She was a fun new character to add to New Leaf. However, I've always preferred Nook and he really is the face of Animal Crossing. I'm glad he's back in the forefront this game.

I will say, I think giving Isabelle a bit of a backstory would make her more likable. Obviously, the Able Sisters (and Tom Nook) have their interconnected history, but we don't know that much about Isabelle.

I like Isabelle, but I also wouldn't lose any sleep if she wasn't back for New Horizons. I think It's really sad if saying you don't like a popular video game [character] or any fictional character, for that matter, is enough to earn someone's hatred. But anyway, I was pretty bummed when Tortimer was no longer a prominent character in New Leaf, nonetheless I still enjoyed playing NL and got to meet new characters I liked. Though I hear Tortimer dead in New Horizons. ;<

But i know a lot of people live Isabelle, and wish she had more of a role like she did before. Honestly im not a huge fan of her. I dont really like her for some reason. I never have from the beginning. Im happy shes not directing us around a lot in this game

I used to call her MISerabelle, but now she won't be telling me I STILL need two spaces to the left, two to the right, and three steps back, when I have 50 spaces in all directions.. I've mellowed towards her.

I'm still not a fan who will gush over her, but the hatred has died down and I now find her tolerable.

I love Isabelle, I started AC with NL so I only ever knew her as the main NPC. Its different now with Tom Nook.

Aww she’s such a sweetie though. When she asked for that shell, because the poor thing’s never had enough time to even go to the beach, I made sure to find her the prettiest one ♥

I think I relate to her in some ways, especially when we saw what she’s like outside of work and she was wearing the same model of glasses I use at home.
