• Guest, can you feel the love in the air? Valentine's Week at The Bell Tree has begun with a new mini-event featuring four activities to enjoy -- new and returning collectibles are up for grabs! Dive in to the love here.

I never thought i'd complain about this in awhile, but..

I agree. Instead of having a bunch of popular people be nominated to be mods, we should have nominated the most active members. Or here is a idea, when a spammer comes in, and creates a spam account, IP Ban them.

You didn't answer why Miranda didn't go through training.
Ah. That was Jeremy's decision. I don't know why.

Probably something about her being a chick. ;)

jk don't kill me. D:
Sexy!!!
ikr

He is quite sexy.

But in other news, we need to start an email join type thing.

Or make a category for people 1,000+ post ;D
That is not Sexy. But I know what is

Jeremy <3 Miranda (;

Hehe I know secrets now :)

Eek, I really do understand why some of the mods aren't able to be on 24/7! They have a life >.>, I mean, they won't be on all day. They probably think "Well, no wars, nothing bad, everything good!" So they just leave.

I really hope it doesn't take too long till Comatose and Conor are able to stop them. I mean seriously, when Trela opened up some of the threads with the Peach pictures.. I was like "Oh, oh my god, Albert! CLOSE IT!" (Sadly my computer ran slow). >_>

I say a new warn to be put up about ignoring troll threads.

Maybe a punishment for doing so?

Cause trolls will lose attention.

They had that, least I'm certain there was. I think it was ban worthy.

What happened to it?

I think when (and if) TBT moves from ZBs to vBulletin, all of this will stop.

vBulletin has brings much more power and safety to a Forum and will definately support Mods and Admins in their job. An example of this would be the way new members work. Like at ToontownCentral, when you sign up, you have to wait 2 weeks to fully become a member, and while you're in this process, all posts you make must be approved my a Mod or Admin, or you must wait 20 minutes (not sure if this is how it specifically goes).

I'm not an expert on Forums and how to protect them, but vBulletin will help. I hope TBT can get the cash for it, and I wish I could help :(

I'm sure if we want to stop trolls and spammers. Suerly Jeremy could make it that an account needs to be confirmed by him before that account can be active? Surely that would atleast help the slightest. If it's even possible...

And yah. This doesn't bother me. Obviously mods need to be trained..
Problem is only Admins can do that. And we get a lot of members per day so that would become a hassle.

Jeremy hasn't decided 100% on vBulletin yet, I don't think. At least I hope. He could always go with a different, better forum software... One that would allow him to transfer everything over from ZetaBoards.
