I've actually stayed up for hours trying to learn how marking seams works so I can texture my 3D models. A pretty basic concept for those that work with printing or any kind of oragami, but with no one to teach me I'm just looking up tutorials endlessly. Lovely way to spend a night!

Its 12:30 am and I have no clue what you're talking about but there's this cool app called Sculpt+ that you basically make 3D models with of anything you want and post your little creations or people or whatever with and if you have $4000(haha not me) they'll ship you a 3D printed model of your creation

Sculpt+ was actually my first attempt at 3D modelling. I even made a tutorial on how to use it here, but looking back on it now, with all that I've learnt in real, professional 3D modelling and animating software, that is a whole lot of cringe.

I already know how to make 3D models, and slowly I'm becoming better at it (my art thread has all my recent progress, if you're interested), but the texturing part is super difficult for me. It's basically "unfolding" your model as if it were a stuffed teddy bear or something, and then painting onto the unfolded surface on a 2D square image. It's crazy.

Nice fact, though! I had no idea about that.
