Vinyl sheet doesnt exactly scream indoors to me. I honestly thought it could go outside when i started playing.

The bamboo rugs as well as the wooden-dock rugs also looking like something you could place outside imo. I do hope that this is a actual rug in the trailer and we can finally place them (at least certain ones) outside.

I agree! Really wanted to be able to place the bamboo rugs outside. I have a perfect spot for them.

I keep thinking of how I'm going to decorate an area outside, go to get a rug for it, and then remember they can't go outside. I got used to it in Pocket Camp (and Happy Home Designer also let you, I think).

Being able to put wall items on cliffs would be super cute for the hanging terrariums! And so would all your ideas for the garland, especially on fences.

...and this 100%! I would LOVE to be able to put wall items on cliffs. Multiple times I've been decorating and see the perfect item for a cliff but nope, interior wall only.

It would be nice, but if people worry about lag. These items would cause a lot of lag if people were placing them everywhere on their island.

Its a lot of data, Happy Home Designer did it cause it was a small scale area.

Yeah, I think this is the reason why we can't put rugs outside. There's already issues with lag with the current items and I can't imagine what it would be like with other items like rugs. But maybe there's a way to strike a balance? Maybe there could be a limit on how many rugs you can put on the ground. It would be better than nothing.

Hanging stuff on simple panels would be game changing ahhhh. I would have so much fun with that. I also agree that rugs should be placable outside. I'd even be happy with a size limit (eg. only the small-medium sized rugs). I rather mess around with rug placement than stress over pattern slots.
