Well, here we only have sugar and plastic "cones", and to be honest I prefer the latter because I just want the taste of the ice cream. If we had all choices, I'd try the waffle but both waffle and cake sound like soggy options and I don't like that. But I can't judge it without trying.

Waffle cones. I prefer to only have taste from the ice cream scoop that gives me the flavour I want. The cone itself is more of a satisfaction of eating it 100%

I have only heard of Waffle Cones before plus I LOVE THEM SO MUCH so I would probably still use them if I knew what the others were.
i don’t really like ice cream cones tbh as i feel pressured to finish them within a small amount of time so that the ice cream doesn’t start melting and dripping all over the place, but i’ll say that waffle cones are my favourite as i’ve never tried a sugar or cake cone before. i definitely prefer eating ice cream out of a bowl, or even the carton that it came in, though lol.

I love waffle cones, sugar cones, and cake cones, especially with the ice cream flavor cookies and cream and chocolate in it! But I prefer ice cream sandwiches (Yeah, ice cream sandwich is not on the poll I know.)

waffle cones/waffle bowls are great!
there's a bubble tea place near me called bubbleology (its a chain) that does their own version of a waffle cone with gelato. it's a soft, warm, bubble waffle shaped into a cone in the container. this is truly the best way to have ice cream. picture of my last bubble waffle under the spoiler, 10/10 recommend!!

I like using a bowl or an icecream sandwich if it isn't crunchy.
Cones usually get messy. Especially if a place that sells them puts hard icecream in them instead of soft serve. I don't like things getting on my hands or on my face. Icecream sandwiches I only eat with two fingers in case anyone was wondering lol.
I think the only time I actually eat a cone is if it comes out of the box from the store. Those have a chocolate coating in them that keeps them from leaking and getting soggy.
