Just curious: why wont you let peapole visiting your village talk to your villagers? Are there something with the game that i dont understand? I have seen others having the same town rules so i got curious about it

^^I think it's because then the villagers say "A while ago, I met so-and-so from the town something-or-other." It just gets a bit annoying. I don't know, but that's what I'm guessing..

I think it's because it ups their chances of moving away (to that other said mayor's town). This is problematic because you might start to have more TTing accidents.

I tend to giveaway a lot of villagers, and if people are really late picking them up or if something happens, they might go to the wrong town.
One of my friends lost like 30mil because Stitches went to the wrong town after somebody visited him on a trade and decided to wonder off. It just really annoys me, I see no reason for people to talk to other people's villager anyway, especially if they're just quickly trading something.
And with the "don't come to my town if you're not invited"
not even joking the amount of people who just think they can start running around and stealing stuff when I'm trading omg
