I think it'd be nice to open up a Re-Tail/Mabel's store where custom items are available to be put up by the members of BellTreeForums. They will be "badges" that you can put under your avatar. They can be animated gifs or non-animated. Useless? Yes but it's nice to have a bit more customization for your profile. These custom items have some requirements before putting up though... The user must have bought at least one thing from the other stores, has over 150 posts, and have warning levels below 50%. The custom item must not have anything suggestive of course. Max of 10 custom items.
I can't see us ever implementing something like this as it wouldn't leave much room for our existing site collectibles (the little icons you see in my sidebar), not to mention I think our site artists need a small break after this last event!
If you're interested in adding a bit more "flair" to your profile, you could try grabbing some of the unlimited collectibles from the TBT Shop. The rarer items are stocked periodically and we also have exclusive collectibles that can be obtained during site events.
