ideas for furniture to put in this room

so i really like this combination of wallpaper and flooring but i'm not really sure what to put in the room. i already have 2 bedrooms so i don't want another.

update: it looks like this now! is there anything you think doesn't fit or do you have recommendations of specific items i can add?

maybe a kitchen and/or dining space? i think it looks cozy and cottage-y, made some nice cute but homely decor?

I think it would make a sweet sitting/reading room. You could but some floor cushions / moms cushions / floor seats here and there, some bookshelves or the wooden block bookshelves, and some tea related items to give it cozy vibes. And then add some lighting, music, and some little decorations (plants maybe?) and it'll be complete!

i used to have a room with a similar wallpaper/flooring combo, and i made it a crafting room. had a sewing machine, diy table, loom, etc. it was pretty cute!

Can second this, with the addendum that wall-mounted plants are also available if you don’t want to replace the rocking chair.

I realized I lack TVs and other furniture. I'm living like a hobo apparently and I look like a creep behind the panel.

wow thanks so much! i like the idea of putting the lemon/white puppy plushie in there, it definitely matches the color scheme. same with the floral mom's candle and the cypress plant! love the effort
