This is my final idea to my idea blog. It's so sad to let that happen. After three months of blogging, which includes game ideas, my idea blog is coming to a close. So what should my idea be about? Probably something that would make a great finale to my idea blog.
Today's game idea is about creating your town and characters. I will also talk about the life cycle your town goes under.
When you first start a town, like always, Rover will ask you about what time it is. Then you name your first character and gender of the character. Then you name what town you're getting. After that, you will see a variety of maps to decide what you want your town to look like. The map generator will be biased if you use the map editor, where you get to decide what landscape you want. After choosing what map you want, you get to decide what biome you want your town to be.
Question: What is (town name) like?
Answers:
The biome you select determines what items will be sold more frequently, what group of fruits you can get as your native fruit, and what climate you're getting. After choosing your biome, you will go to the basic character face selection. The first question asks if you're excited. One answer shows how mature your character is, one shows how calm your character is, and the other shows how excited your character is. The next question is a response to the first. The first answer will make Rover ask why are you moving. The second answer results in a question asking what you're going to do. The third answer results in if you're really sure about excitement.
The second question will always have a nice answer and a rude answer. It determines the of your character. The nicer answer makes you swing in between the Lazy and Smug personalities or the Normal and Uchi personalities. The meaner answer makes you go the other ones. The third question determines what personality you get, and depending on what eye group you pick (which comes from the first question), all three of them determine what eyes your character gets.
Once the eyes of the mayor is decided (or the alternative character), you will begin getting a house. Your first step is to talk to Isabelle, then go see Tom Nook at Main Street. After that, you will get to choose where you live. Once your tent is set up, Isabelle will give you a few quests to do, just like in previous games. Like New Leaf, you will get your game saved after setup. Unlike New Leaf, and like earlier games, you will have to do some quests. Here are the quests to do before your mayor's inauguration (or character gets TPC):
Once you get all that done, your mayor will plant the sapling to the town tree. After that, you're done for the day, unless if you want to pay off down payment, which is required to get your mayor's permit. The next day will be the day you work on approval rating to get your permit. Once your permit is retrieved, your town will go anywhere. The Nooklings and the Ables won't remodel, the Museum and other shops won't open, PWPs and ordinances won't be made, and no holiday will be celebrated if you don't have a permit.
Museum:
Day or night, the first time you load up your game after retrieving your permit is when Blathers will come to your house. He will lead you to his museum. There are eight exhibit wings in the museum, but you get to choose which area gets what artifacts. Please read this entry to see what I'm talking about. Once the museum is set up, it will take three days till the museum opens.
Nooklings:
Like in past games, the main store remodels after spending a certain amount of bells. The Nooklings first store will remodel if three conditions are met:
Throughout the rest of your Nookling store journey, you have to spend more Bells and approve of remodeling through Town Hall to get the store to expand. There are five stores like New Leaf. Here are they, the spending requirements, and maximum hours open if extra hour ordinance is turned off:
Once you remodel the store, there's no turning back, but you do get to decide what time each store is open.
Ables:
The Able Sisters can remodel too. By default, they're only open 11 hours. The first store is just as small as it was in the Gamecube version. They only have four patterns to display total, one hat, one facewear, one top, and one bottom sold daily. You can still get the QR machine. Mable and Sable will still be there. To remodel the Able Sisters first store, you have to do the following:
The Ables will only expand after first expansion. The shoe store will be left intact, but the salon will be displaced after first expansion. The second renovation will be the same as New Leaf's renovation. Hats and face items will be separated to Labelle's room as she sells neck items, accessories, and umbrellas. Mable will sell coats and jackets along with the tops and bottoms. And 8 patterns will be available to display. It will open for 13 hours.
To remodel it once more, you need to spend 80,000 Bells total in all three stores combined. Their third store will incorporate Kick's into the department store. It will resemble Nookington's in Wild World and a bit like T&T Emporium. Harriet gets her beauty salon inside as the first floor is divided into two parts. The shoe corner resembles Leif's gardening corner. The patterns are designed on the left side. Labelle will sell the other clothes in the second floor.
That's it for this idea. Of course, there are always projects to build and items to donate. And the requirements to build three of the stores are still the same.

- Warm and wet (Jungle Biome)
- Seasonal (Forest Biome)
- Pretty Dry (Desert Biome)

- Meet everyone and chat with them until all basic dialogue is finished.
- Write a letter to any animal.
- Get Isabelle a seashell.
- Plant the trees anywhere. She will give you a free shovel.
- Deliver the furniture to the same animal you mailed to.
- Talk to Reese, Tommy, and the Ables.
- Catch 3 fish or insects.
- Talk to Isabelle about Town Pass Card. You will choose your characters birthday.
- Get TPC photo.

- T&T Mart - 25,000 Bells - 18 hours
- Super T&T - 65,000 Bells (spent at T&T Mart) - 11 hours
- T.I.Y. - 100,000 Bells (spent at Super T&T) - 13 hours
