Does the same Birthday fare that the player has go on as usual; and the shared birthday of another villager is celebrated after that standard Birthday Cutscene;

Or What happens if The Player Character has their birthday on the same day as another villager on the island?!!

This actually happened to me! I got my birthday cutscene as usual and then I could go to the villager’s birthday party at their house. It was so funny though because everyone at the villager’s party didn’t wish me a happy birthday until the next day, and apologised for forgetting my birthday. 😂 basically you get your party and the villager gets theirs. Your birthday buddy villager will never wish you a happy birthday on your actual birthday though, it’s always late with an apology 😂 honestly kept that villager on my island just because I was curious what would happen on my birthday

I have Kyle on my island, and invited him for this reason as I share my birthday with him (December 6th). From what I found out, both birthday parties are celebrated, and Isabelle does point this out on the announcements, but Kyle does not actually acknowledge my birthday on the same day. I think that in past games, the conflicting villager would make a funny comment or two about the phenomenon, and thought it would also apply here, but I guess not. Regardless of the disappointment, Kyle is still someone I don't plan on swapping anytime soon, as he's actually a cool villager that sums up my aesthetic IMO. Heck, I'd totally try to have him again in the next game.

Having a combined party would be awesome, though. Imagine the whole town being present for that!
