Good thing the Manneken Pis isn't in this game. People might have tried to cancel Nintendo for that, despite it being in previous AC games. It gets passed ESRB because it's art. I suspect in the next game that statue won't make a return or they'll put a leaf over his family jewels.
imagine being a grown ass adult and seeing the wang on a historically famous statue and reacting worse than an actual child probably would
I mean, to be fair, my Nana would've started giggling uncontrollably. She loved a good... joke. May she rest in peaceimagine being a grown ass adult and seeing the wang on a historically famous statue and reacting worse than an actual child probably would
Holy cow, THAT'S the statue our old neighbors had in their yard! (well, a replica, of course)Good thing the Manneken Pis isn't in this game. Me too. I'm not an avid history buff or anything like that, but there is some historical art that I do like. Some statues were dropped from New Horizons for some reason. I had planned on placing certain historical buildings and statues in the correct location of my island. What I mean is that if a building or statue was placed somewhere in the north, and another in the southeast or something, I was going to arrange them onto my island that way. Would've been tedious, but probably really cool.Such a shame. I really love historical related furniture including art :/.

But the fountain didn't work on theirs, so it looked like it was doing... something else.
I personally loved it, but I know some neighbors complained![]()
Animal Crossing is definitely one of those games that can teach you a thing or two about something. Pokémon, despite me not playing those games anymore, taught me a few things when I was growing up. Parents at the time, and maybe still, would say that video games taught you nothing. Sure, some may not, but there are some that do.I can't tell you how many famous works of art I learned about through Animal Crossing games!
Or how much about Japanese mythology I've learned from learning about different Pokemon (to the point where I saw Luna for the first time and was like "Neat, a Baku!").
Video games can be great for learning random trivia!
I just looked that up and... what part of him is supposed to be a faun? I thought fauns had like goat feet? This is just a normal dude letting it all hang outNintendo should've added the Barberini Faun to give people to flip out over.
