Yes. By posting you earn currency.
I think it's 2 - 6 Bells per post, depending on the length.
You also get the code via the number in the profile URL.

Here's a little tip to help you out. WARNING: Theis WILL cause a lot of weeds. BUt if you don't mind weeds, well, here ya go.

Deposit at least 100,000 bells into your ABD in ACCF. Save and quit. Change the Wii Settings date year to 2000. Load up the game. Then save and quit. Then go to the Wii Settings and change the date year to 2035. Load up the game again. You should get a letter saying you've earned 99,000 Bells interest. Save and repeat. Trust me, this works.

You want another tip? Here. This one doesn't cause as many weeds, but you might get a few.

Change the date to Bunny Day (Easter), then load the game. Get out a shovel and dig up all of the cracks in the ground. Most of them should be Bunny Eggs. If they are, crack them open. If you get a gold foil from the eggs, give them to the Bunny outside of the Town Hall. If you get candy, save that for a later date. I'll explain that later. The Bunny will give you a piece of Bunny furniture, which is usually worth 12,000 Bells. SELL ALL THE FURNITURE TO NOOK.

Why dont you guys just catch bugs or fish? I just started but i Have alot of money from catching fish (well not alot of money but enough). For example in the summer if you caught a shark you'd get 15,000 bells, or if you caught an agrias butterfly, they sell for 3,000 bells each, so in my opinion there is no reason for anyone to go "broke"! You could even sell fruit for fast money if you were that desperate!

This is what I do. I have made 100's of thousands.

PS- Best time to do this is at night in June, July, or August, rare bugs and fish are out (check coconut palms for rare bugs and ocean for sharks)

Cause that's too normal. Try my suggestions from my last post. I've gotten 800,000 Bells from the first method. Fish and bugs don't really add up to much. Trust me. I've been playing Animal Crossing for 5 years. Lots of people say it does. But it doesn't unless you've got loads of free time. Even you just said that you don't have a lot, but you have enough. Why settle for enough? You should get lots more. Especially since Nook's and Gracie Grace is highway robbery. -_-
