I?m so hyped for the new animal crossing game. I look it up 24/7 and it?s kinda getting at me that we haven?t seen ANYTHING really.

I mean I can be patient for it but still it?s like they?re torturing us right now lol.

How are you handling it? Losing it like me or just don?t care (which is fine) ?

I feel you, it's really rather annoying to be left in the dark for so long. It's already April and still no word. All we can hope for at this point is the direct from Reggie on April 15th, which will HOPEFULLY give us ANYTHING.

Personally I just do not care as much as much as I did initially. It should probably be the other way around, but I do not know. I guess I have just been busy worrying about other things. I would think we are rather due for an update.

Originally, I didn't mind waiting. I said that even if I dont hear about it until later this year, as long as it does come this year as promised, I could live in the dark. I kept myself busy with reading, my violin practice, and other games. It's only when I randomly started playing New Leaf and making huge progress in my town that I started to want more. I've just been occupying myself with watching wishlist videos on YouTube and staying active on the forum. So far, it's helping my craziness. Lol

It's not just about new AC but the same about everything else I just wait, it doesn't bother me at all. Maybe it's because I'm a slow lazy person, and there are way too many other things in real life that I have to take care of.

frustrating at that point. Sure, if it's really is the case that we're going to get informations on

No they didn't. I think they're just speculating that Reggie will have something to say to us on his last day.

What was the New Leaf fiasco?

We got the first footage in 2010 or 2011 I think, then Japan got the game in november 2012 and the rest of the world had to wait for mid June 2013.. There was a big gap in time with the first footage and an actual trailer with a release date.. I bought my 3DS around release in 2011 because I knew New Leaf was announced.. But I had to wait so long until I could buy it.

I like to believe that AC Switch was in development after they finished Welcome Amiibo back in 2016. Also the fact that they didn’t announce that it was in development at the time. I bet they did this so the fans won’t experience another one of those wait things again.

So, when they announced AC Switch in 2018 they finished the development of the game except for translations. When they’re done with the translations, it’s when they’ll reveal more info on it. That’s how I see it work.

It's rumored, but the source doesn't have a good track record. It's speculated to be a mini or a Smash Direct, however.
