In Game Encyclopedia empty...

I just got this game and have logged in about 3-4 hours. I recently spent the last 20-30 minutes fishing. Obviously I have caught plenty of fish including a shark ahha. The problem is my fish encyclopedia is not recording anything.. Is this a glitch or must I complete something in order for my fish to start recording?

Any help will be much appreciate it!

I'm not sure, this didn't happen for me...Have you paid off your loan?
When you catch a fish, at the end does it say 'Better check it out in my encyclopedia!' (I'm not sure how it goes..)

I have not paid off my house debt but when I catch a fish it does say "check the encyclopedia for information on this fish" or something to that effect.

Are you sure you're on the fish tab? You could have on the bug/diving tab.

Fish etc. are registered regardless of your status in the game regarding paying off house, loans and whatever. Sounds interesting though, there is no reason for this to happen.

Yes I am hitting all the tabs. The one with the butterfly, the one with the fish, and the one with the Octopus. I see nothing. I am scrolling left and right on all the tabs. I do not understand why they are all empty.

And hmm this is odd if I do not have to complete something either.

Oh, it means Time Travel.

Oh that's a good idea actually. I just caught a fish now and it didn't say anything about the encyclopedia...

Have you tried saving and quitting, closing the game, and then booting it back up again?

Yes I did. Multiple times.
Problem solved though: I just caught another fish now and it populated everything I have caught. The only thing I can see that changed is its a new day now.. This is really odd. It was empty, now its pretty full... at least it works now.
