HAZEL IN BOXES, free to adopt

latest

Hazel (アイリス, Iris?) is an uchi squirrel villager who first appeared in Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Her name comes from hazelnut, a type of nut. A certain villager already had the name of Hazel, but due to Nintendo of America's localization error, this villager was given the name of Hazel. That villager was then renamed to Sally due to, yet another localization error on Nintendo of America's part. Not only that, but the new name given, Sally, was already owned by another villager too.

Appearance

Hazel's most distinct feature is her prominent unibrow, which resembles Lyman's unibrow. She has light pink cheeks, and her inner ears are bright blue. She has light brown fur, with a patch of red on the top of her head, resembling thick bangs. Her paws are also red. She has a darker brown color and white in a swirl on her tail. Her initial phrase references towards her unibrow. Her initial shirt is the Red Warmup Suit.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the uchi personality.
Hazel is an uchi ("big sister") villager. She will have a tendency to be blunt with the player, teaching them how to "always win at fights" and ways to relax. She will also act like a caring big sister to the player once they become close friends. Hazel may get along with jock villagers who share her love of sports, and lazy villagers for how laid-back they are. However, she may conflict with snooty and cranky villagers, who spread rumors about others.

House

Hazel's house is very child-like. She has almost the entire Patchwork Series, and a big Papa Bear. She also has a hamster which she will sometimes talk about, as well as a CD Player playing K.K. Disco. She has the Modern Wood Wall, and the Birch Flooring.

Her initial catchphrase is a reference to her personality, as it makes her seem light-hearted and cheerful when she speaks. Her English name is related to the fruit cherry. Her birthday is on Shamrock Day. She appeared in the early games of the series, was absent in Wild World and City Folk, and returned in New Leaf. She appears on the album covers for I Love You and K.K. Faire.

She, like other peppy villagers, will rarely be discouraged from doing anything, including the usual hobbies. She will also have a short attention span, which means she will soon forget arguments or tasks given to the player which were not completed. She may ask the player; "Sooo, how am I dressed today?" The player is presented with a slide-bar indicating Kinda slobby... and Super formal! Moving the bar close to Super formal! will make her happy.

House

From Animal Forest + to Animal Forest e+, Cheri's house does not have a specific theme to her house, with random furniture, with two Djimbe Drums, one Timpano Drum, three pieces from the Totem Pole Set, two Oil Drums, the red and brown Oil Drums, and a Red Sofa. ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

Cousteau (ハルマキ,, Harumaki?) is a jock frog villager in the Animal Crossing series. He first appeared in Animal Forest, but was absent in Animal Crossing: Wild World and made a reappearance in Animal Crossing: City Folk. His name is French, and some famous Frenchmen have had it as a second name. His name and personality together may refer to Jacques Cousteau. His initial phrase, "oui oui," is French for, "yes yes" (or agreement, so usually just "yes"). His species relates to the common French stereotype in which frogs are a type of food, specifically frog's legs. Like Cousteau, Gaston the rabbit and Marcel the dog are French.
However, Cousteau being labelled as French exists only outside of Japan. His name in Japanese is the word "Spring Roll," a traditionally Chinese dish. Thus, his name, house, as well as his appearance may lead him to be labelled as Chinese by some.

Appearance

Cousteau is a yellow frog with orange spots. He also has a black mustache on his face which goes with his French name and quote. He has white on the tips of both hands, and a brownish color on his feet. His original shirt is a Rally Tee. He may be mistaken for a cranky villager due to his elderly and adult appearance.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the jock personality.

As a jock villager, he will be outgoing and will always enjoy exercising and staying fit and is friendly towards the player, but he won't get along with lazy villagers due to their lack of exercising and he won't get along with snooty villagers since he doesn't care about fashion and he will ask about their weight and physical appearance. He will get along with normal and peppy villagers.

House

In the first three Animal Crossing games, Cousteau has many items from the Exotic Series, such as the Exotic Bed and the Exotic Screen. He also uses the matching wall and flooring, the Exotic Rug and the Exotic Wall. Imperial K.K. plays on a Reel-To-Reel to fit the Asian feel of it.

Cousteau's house in Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a bit different from the past games. It now has an asian restaurant feel to it, due to the Lazy-Susan Table, salad bar, and revolving spice rack. He still has Exotic furniture, such as the Exotic Table, and two Exotic Screens. He also still has the Exotic Rug, and Exotic Wall, as well as a Reel To Reel playing Imperial K.K.
