ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

Kid Cat (1ごう,, #1?) is a cat villager with a jock personality. His name may come from his childish looks and attitude, and the fact that he is a cat, and may also be a reference to Kid Flash, a character from DC Comics. He is one of a few villagers who wear headgear such as helmets. He is also one of the four superheroes, the others being Agent S (who wears a helmet with No. 2 on it), Big Top (who wears No. 3), Rocket (who wears No. 4), and, newly added in Happy Home Designer, Filly (who wears No. 7).This is also a reference to his Japanese name, #1. His initial phrase, "psst," is a sound made when confiding a secret and is an onomatopoeic word used to describe the sound a feline makes.

Kid Cat is a white cat with a red helmet and sweat bands. His ears are light blue on the inside while white on the outside, sticking out from his helmet. His tail is white transitioned into light blue and his sweat bands are red when colored with a white tip. He has large, wide-open eyes which are covered by his helmet's visor. He initially wears a No. 1 shirt, which matches his red helmet, which also has a number "1" depicted on it making him look very heroic in appearance. He may offend and upset snooty and cranky villagers. He may also occasionally give the player medicine if they are stung by a bee.

House

In Animal Forest e+, Kid Cat's house is identical to Deena's, only that he has used the Chainlink Fence and the Western Carpet. He also has one gyroid, the Mega Harmonoid. No stereo is in his house either, and therefore, no music.

In Animal Crossing: Wild World, City Folk, and New Leaf, Kid Cat's house has an exercise-type room, as if in a locker room or on a playing field. His wallpaper is the Chainlink Fence. He has the Nintendo Bench, Red Drum, Blue Bin, Iron Frame, Retro TV, Office Locker, clothes Line, Weight Bench, Basketball Hoop, and a Robo Stereo which plays "Go K.K. Rider!."

Carmen (チョコ, Choco, Carmen?) is a peppy rabbit villager who was introduced in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Her name was used in previous versions of the game as a snooty mouse. Her initial phrase is a reference to a confectionery treat1, which is made with nuts. She appears on the album cover for K.K. March.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the peppy personality.

Carmen has a peppy personality, which means that though she will be friendly and often over-excited to see the player, she is easily offended and can also overreact to the smallest things. She initially seems shallow or self-centered, but she will soon become more friendly toward the player the more she interacts with them. She fantasizes about being an idol, and will sometimes refer to fan mail she gets. Being a peppy villager, she will be open to all personalities and will get along with most villagers, but may get upset when talking to snooty or cranky villagers because they are often offensive toward her lifestyle.

House

Carmen's house in Animal Crossing: City Folk has a space theme, which may be a whimsical reference of the rabbit on the moon found in folklore. Her room features almost all of the furniture from the space theme series of furniture and her tape deck plays K.K. Technopop.

Carmen's house has been revamped completely in New Leaf. It now contains many pieces from the Alpine Series, as well as the Modern Wood Bed, an electric kettle, a flat-screen TV, and the normal sized Dekkoid from the Dekkoid gyroid family. She has K.K. Technopop playing on a Reel-to-Reel.

ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

Hopper (ダルマン,, Dalman?) is a cranky penguin villager in the Animal Crossing series. He is a crested penguin, and named after the Rockhopper penguin, even while his design is based off a Macaroni Penguin (the two look quite similar to the untrained eye. However, they're both crested penguins). He also appeared in Dōbutsu no Mori. Hopper is the only penguin with a cranky personality. He has appeared in all games of the Animal Crossing series. He also appears on the album cover for K.K. Parade.
Appearance

Hopper is a black and white crested penguin with a yellow beak, red eyes, and long, straw-like eyebrows (like the Rockhopper Penguin) which give him a somewhat angry or grumpy expression. He initially wears a Dragon Shirt. His eyebrows are similar to Mathilda's.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the cranky personality.

As a cranky villager, Hopper will appear mature compared to other personality types. This will make him appear belittling and insensitive to other villagers, including the player. Despite this, he will learn to confide in the player, considering them his only friend.
He will enjoy the usual hobbies, but appreciates relaxation and peace over competition. He will find it difficult to socialize with peppy and normal villagers, whom he will criticize when talking to other villagers. He will get along with lazy and snooty villagers, as well as other cranky villagers, whom he will share deeper conversations with. He will, on occasion, annoy a normal villager, usually when being mean about something or someone.

ANIMAL CROSSING WIKI

Maple (メープル,, Maple?) is a normal cub villager in the Animal Crossing series. She has appeared in every game in the series so far. Maple's name derives from the type of tree called a Maple Tree. It could also be her name because she is "sweet like syrup"; as she has the normal personality. She is the only character to mention another character in their picture quote, in this case, a mop called Moppina. Her initial catchphrase is a reference to what bears are stereotypically known to eat. It could also be a reference to her personality type, due to the fact honey is sweet.
She appears on the album art cover of Mr. K.K. and K.K. Marathon.

Appearance

Maple is a brown cub with a beige-tipped snout and paws. She has pale red blush, and is the color of maple syrup. She has a black nose and small, black, shiny eyes. In the N64 version, she has a red patch on the back of her head. Maple's initial clothing is the Citrus Gingham, except in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, where she wears the Dapper Shirt. When it rains, she uses a petal parasol. In the N64 version, she looks a little bit like Ellie the elephant.

Personality

Below is a brief description of the normal personality.

Maple is a kind, caring and calm character like all normal villagers. Like all normal villagers, she will easily become upset or offended by other villagers (Normal villagers take offense easily), particularly snooty villagers who mislead her in conversation and cranky villagers who have a rude, scheming nature. She enjoys the usual hobbies, such as; fishing and bug catching, usually to keep her active. As with all other villagers, she will enjoy the player's company at her house where she may tell the player to "ignore the mess" - a concern she shares with other normal villagers. In Animal Crossing: Wild World, she will talk about an unseen character called Moppina, a mop referred to as her friend which reflects on the normal personality type who has hygiene and cleanliness concerns. She will get along well with other normal villagers, jock, lazy, and peppy villagers, appearing mother-like in conversation.

House

In Animal Crossing, Maple has some plants, a great collection of bears, and some Lullaboids. On her stereo, she plays K.K. Lullaby. In Animal Forest she has the same house in Animal Crossing, with different music being I Love You which keeps playing in future games. In Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: Wild World, she has a few items of the Ranch Series, and a Sewing Machine instead. In Animal Crossing: New Leaf she has pieces from the Classic Series, including the bed, table, buffet and desk, she has a piano and a collection of bears.
