I dislike islands now. You can never get a good bridge when you donate 200k, and it makes the town seem smaller.

I have an island. I only half like it though. The east half is large & well developed, good for a mini-orchard and one villager's house, but the west half is like an extended land bridge. It's skinny and not good for anything, and it looks ugly because of the grass wear.
