In your opinion, who is the most underrated villager?

Antonio, I understand why people aren't drawn to the other Anteaters despite the fact that I love all of them but with Antonio, I feel like his cuteness is obvious but is underrated. Anteaters are unique but Antonio is the one with a design that most closely resembles the real life Giant Anteater.

From the 2.0 update, I'm surprised Marlo isn't more popular - based on Marlon Brando from the Godfather/a Mafia Boss. Iconic.

For me, Knox is underrated. I mean look at his design. Who doesn't want a cool knight villager on your island?
Scoot, Kid Cat, and Mira are also underrated and needs more appreciation.

Antonio is adorable. I have been thinking about changing some of the villagers on my main island but didn’t know which ones to move in . I actually have Antonio’s Amiibo (not sure why I haven’t brought him in yet ) but now he will be moving to my main island Serenity.

For me, it's Rilla and Miranda. These 2 villagers are my personal faves and I can't imagine an AC game without them. I get why Rilla isn't liked, she's a Hello Kitty gorilla instead of a cat, but Miranda not being liked baffles me. Is it her design? Personality? CATCHPHRASE?

There are some villagers I can add, but I would say Carmen because she is my best friend.

I love Carmen too. She's so cute and kind of awkward.
I've had a lot of underrated villagers. Most recently, Cranston. I love jock villagers but there's just something about Cranston. He was my very first jock villager on my first island and now I've got him back. I love how he has a beautiful design but the ridiculous catchphrase "sweatband". Skye is another underrated villager. There are a lot of lovely normal villagers but something about the "airmail" catchphrase and Skye being the only normal wolf, makes her special.

I like Frita and Hazel. Some of the sisterly designs are different, but these two really grew on me when they moved to my town in New Leaf.

Even I underrated him for a long time.

He constantly has this healthy, happy demeanor.

I became alert to him via a gaming content creator who has Henry on his/her island. Now, I have Henry on one of my non-main islands.

Moe 100% He was one of my first villagers EVER. I think his design is great too- who doesn't love a blue tabby?

I would say Bea and Murphy - Not hated or disliked, but also not talked about much IMO. At the same time, they only appeared in the original AC and the Welcome Amiibo update of NL (NH as well), so the chances of meeting them were pretty slim. I've had Murphy on my island before and I currently have Bea, both of them are adorable!

Really just so so many. So many people don’t even know any of the villagers outside the maybe 20-50 popular villagers who happen to be deemed cute at the moment.

But just a few underrated stars that come to mind are Sydney, Maggie (though I think she is getting more popular lately, finally), Plucky, Pate, Freckles, Rex, Bangle, Mac, Olivia.

Really there’s just too many villagers to love

Sterling, Sprinkles, Chops, Canberra and Eggbert.

They are overlooked for other "prettier" villagers with the same personalities most of the time. There are many more underrated villagers.

I know everyone is expecing me to say coco but..... COCO many people are scared of her appearence for some reason, but she is a beautiful Gyrioid Rabbit, she has a great peppy personality and her exteiour house is beautiful!

as much as she drove me insane on my last island with her unannounced visits, I think Velma is very underrated. ^^

Boyd and Buck are two of my personal underrated favorites. I think there are certain specials that overall are not as popular, being the gorillas, hippos, elephants, and horses.
