Insecticide (IMPORTANT)

So, all you have to do is click it?
Yeah, a moderate amount. Try not to click too much, or otherwise it'll look too ... dare I say... suspicious.

:p

*is having trouble finding a 'don't endorse clicks or whatever' in the ToS*

You win.

No, Justin125. I win.

Encouraging clicks

In order to ensure a good experience for users and advertisers, publishers may not request that users click the ads on their sites or rely on deceptive implementation methods to obtain clicks. Publishers participating in the AdSense program:

* May not encourage users to click the Google ads by using phrases such as "click the ads," "support us," "visit these links," or other similar language

* May not direct user attention to the ads via arrows or other graphical gimmicks

* May not place misleading images alongside individual ads

* May not promote sites displaying ads through unsolicited mass emails or unwanted advertisements on third-party websites

* May not compensate users for viewing ads or performing searches, or promise compensation to a third party for such behavior

* May not place misleading labels above Google ad units - for instance, ads may be labeled "Sponsored Links" but not "Favorite Sites"

You lose, Fabio, actually. You're showing me the Google Adsense ToS. This isn't AdSense, it's EPN.

Exactly, bul is right.

AdSence rules is what made me look.

I'm fairly certain it measures unique clicks not total clicks.

It does, meaning it's useless doing it more then every 24 hours.

Do we even have the ads anymore? I adblocked them so long ago I kind of assumed you bought ad removal anyways.

You don't buy ad removal for a site you built yourself... you must have meant the forums.

What?

"Do we even have the ads anymore? I adblocked them so long ago I kind of assumed you bought ad removal anyways."

Ad removal for what? We're talking about the site here.

Well, are there ads on the site? I do remember IF having ads on the forums, but I adblocked them a long time ago, too. I don't remember ever blocking the ads on TBT's website, but it may be because I always use wild cards when I find a new advertising site. I had assumed that Fabio had found that ToS in relation to the ads on the forum, as they had been discussing whether it was alright to ask for clicks on the forums.

The ads currently in question - EPN ads - are used only on the website. Google Ads are used on both the forums and the site, but the forum clicks revenue goes to Invisionfree, whereas the revenue from clicks on the site goes to us. Since you adblocked the Invisionfree Google Adsense ads, then you're not seeing the site ads. However, EPN has nothing to do with Google AdSense...

And they were discussing whether it was okay to ask for clicks, period, regardless whether it's a site or a forum.

UGH! EPN just canceled the ad campaign due to complications from the publisher. I'll try to, uhh, sort this out with them....

Meanwhile, keep clicking the main EPN banner, now in place of the Insecticide banner.

Yeah, I know. My point is I was talking about the forum, just like you were.
