I am looking for a complete Zen castle.
I have a general idea on the design of your Zen castle. Here are some pictures that I used as inspirations:
- The two images above are traditional Japanese tea house interiors and which your main room will be based on.
- The backroom will be a garden area similar to this.
- This is Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) in Kyoto, Japan. The top part is supposedly gold leaf or gold (not too sure). Not many people are familiar what the top floor is used for but in your design, the 2nd floor will be the living quarters and will have gold screen wall as wallpaper.
- The reason I place the Zen Garden PWP on the left of your Zen Castle is because the inspiration came from Kiyosu Castle's (Nagoya, Japan) exterior design.
Your Zen Castle will consist of tea room (main), garden (back), altar plus armoury (left), tea preparation and food preparation room (right), living quarters (2nd floor) and bathing area (basement).
For the bathing area, I remembered you were unsatisfied with the in-game marble old style of a traditional Japanese bathhouse. I recommend a more modern but traditionally-influenced bathing area.
