Is anyone aiming for a specific "Island theme"?

I'm tryna do a cute pastel-zen type thing! I'm in love with the Sakura items so I've been utilizing those!
I spent five days making over 200 petal piles i swear

I want to try to do a beach theme overall, but a lot of areas will just develop naturally.

I'm doing a forest town, like a couple other people on the thread. It's what I finally settled on in NL, and I really liked how cozy it felt. It seems like the tree limit in NH is awfully low, so I'm hoping furniture and mushrooms and things can help fill it in.

What you could do is hit 5* for the watering can, then just ignore it from there.

I had it all planned out, but everything I needed for my theme was taken out of the game.

Furniture sets, bushes, house styles (and houses being smaller), perfect fruit to make dead trees, and quite a few other things/features.

I don't think I have a theme per se, but I'm making an effort to keep things simple. Nothing too intricate, some nice paths and designated areas. I have a garden, a bamboo garden area with some hybrids, two separate areas for housing, and I'm planning areas for the museum, an onsen, and a small market using the stall item. I don't wanna stress myself out with large scale projects yet lol.

The theme is very loose, but I'm trying to give it a cozy beach city sort of vibe with nods to Jabberwock Island from Danganronpa. All of the houses are in a sort of "hotel" with wooden paths surrounded by a thin river.

It isn't really a theme, but I have been making a few hearts and checkerboard designs with my path tool since I've unlocked it.

Yeah! My island is called Citrus Bay! All my residents eventually should only be citrus colours (Lemon, Lime, Orange, Grapefruit)! Flowers are only yellow, red, orange, pink ( I need to red to hybrid for orange hyacinths). I just have a colour pallet i'm trying to adhere to.

I'm terrible indecisive, so I've got like... 10 themes I like. I was going for a space/retro/vaporwave kinda aesthetic, but I don't know if there's a ton of items that fit that. I got a neon diner sign that I love, and guess I need to get working on crafting dozens of palm tree lamps

Yes, my theme is kind of a fairytale town island.
The town is outside the airport and it's all walled in with a mote (river) around it.

I'm really struggling with expressing the general theme. Now we dont have fairytale items or half the sets from previous titles. Which is okay I'm trying to be creative.

I'd make it woodsy but I like keeping my 5star rating so I'm making it work without planting more trees.

I don't have a theme. I chose the name Asgard because I'm a Norse Pagan and couldn't think of anything else. I'm probably gonna do up a trans pride flag or LGBTQIAP flag for the town flag. Other than that, though, I'm just trying to make it into a pretty island where people would wanna visit and full of things that I like.

I’m going for a more modern/iron themed town using all blue iron stuff along with most of the ironwood things (I need all the iron diys...sob) kinda like a coastal town I usually visit during the summer months
Lots of blue hybrids, blue signs, blue everything
I just really like blue
