I've bought and sold my whole life whether coins, toys, trading cards etc but collectibles have done more wrong then good to me. I really don't get why making a few profit is SO wrong? Isn't that how people make cash in real life? Buy/make at low price and sell at higher price? That's why Chinese manufacturers are so popular. I believe that if the seller agreed to sell the buyer can do whatever they want with them. Please tell me what you think.

No, almost everyone does it whether it's for tbt or in game bells, etc.

It's just the way you go about it that rubs people the wrong way. I'll just say that you're very persistent. Which may be a good or bad thing, I'm not too sure. The name title 'hustler' doesn't help as well.

no. But it just drops your heart when someone sells them for much higher and and overpriced. Then people notice and start almost blacklisting people.

Buying and selling collectibles is like buying and selling retro video games. (Which is a hobby of mine, incidentally.) They're in limited supply, and as time goes on, less and less people have that item, so it goes up in value. You're just selling a video game, that's all. No harm, no foul. (Unless it's Duck Hunt, because there's lots of fowl in that one.)

So what should I do so it doesn't irk or offend people? I really want to know.

on't sell them tooo high, dont make so many selling/buying threads and if someone say no (not selling, non negotiable, not what looking for), Drop it.

Why do people even care in the first place?

I mean unless I buy it in the shop or someone just gives it I probably won't own any of the collectibles. But at the same time I'm not going to hold it over anyone's head that they took full obvious advantage over people's demand for 784 pixels.

I agree. Daniel, we all buy low and sell high here, and everyone who is "rich" in tbt bells has done a little or a lot of profiteering. Its just the way you go about it. Just ease up a little, you will be fine.

First off, change your user title. "Hustler" is a negative term (source: Drake and Josh).

Second off, there's no shame in reselling stuff for profit. But if you're consistently pushing and shoving everyone just to make a giant profit then we have a problem.

I just beg and it works sometimes

But don't do that. I don't think what you're doing is wrong - nor do I think that selling games for bells are wrong. They're not really hurting both parties involved if they agree with the action. There may be some people with their cold shoulder on you, but as Miley Cyrus says: "forget the haters, because somebody loves ya~~"

You cannot seem to understand the word "no" or the words "let me think about it". You offer collectibles you have yet to obtain in trade, and posts like these are considered pressure tactics:

Well most people with pokeballs already have those collectibles so it's a much better idea to save tbt instead of collectibles.

Also it will take a LONG time to sell those collectibles so I'm basically selling them for you. You're only paying like 400 tbt over the usual price in collectibles. You can take out the regular egg to even the value.

These are just a few examples from today.

You've VMed people in the past trying to buy their collectibles, without apology. It's rude.

Buying and selling is supposed to be fun, and you have a lovely little habit of pressuring people into buying low, lowing their prices so you can buy low, and then you turn around and sell high. Yes, you want to make money, but you're not going to get business if you keep this up. I have grown so tired of seeing you bulling others into selling you collectibles or buying from you that I no longer wish to be a part of your hustling.

It's frustrating to go into a thread and see you making numerous offers for an item at a lowball offer after the seller has said "no". Either learn to accept no, or learn to make worthwhile offers. And don't offer items you do not have yet, because if you don't have them in your grasp you do not own them, therefore you have no place offering them in trade.

Also, your "giveaway" is very sleazy. One entry is free then you have to pay to play? I love TBT but you are very thirsty for it, and you come off as desperate and needy. You come across as a scam artist. Did anyone even win your lottery? No. So you essentially scammed the new members and those foolish enough to join. Your letter "giveaways" do not guarantee someone will win the letter, and is essentially another lottery.

What frustrates most users the most is you don't seem to grasp what the collectibles are meant for. Not to shark around for a quick buck. They are for memories, to add colour and individuality to your profile, and make this fourm unique. You treat them like they are meaningless, like they are there to wheel and deal, while I sell my collectibles, I never pressure anyone. I'm passive, I'm firm but fair. And that's all people want. Is fairness to have something cute or special on their profile.

I'm sorry I upset you, but you need to understand that your actions with others are unacceptable to most, and your reputation is not a very good one. It's not the end of the world if I won't sell to you, there are plenty of others who will. My ability to can with how you treat others has ended, however.

I hope you take what I have said and internalise it.

I'm not trying to hurt Daniel, please do not take it this way. I simply want no part of his version of selling anymore. I don't want to see my hard earned collectibles be bought and sold like meaningless items. I'm selling my memories, I'm offering others to have the more sought after collectibles and I want to be fair in my deals. I'll even sell lower than what I bought them for if I know people really want them. Collectibles bring joy and happiness, and I feel like those things are being sucked out of them by his tactics, thus I no longer wish to have business deals with him.

I've always found your threads of "giveaways" wrong.
You're sitting there charging 100 TBT for entries and then extra TBT for "extra" entries, but then what happens when those 10+ people who entered don't win? Nothing, you've gained almost 1000 TBT for free and only one person managed to get their "tbt" entry worth.

It's down to the person who bought the collectible and whether they feel morally right about it. Obviously it's not against the rules or anything, but some people do frown upon it. I don't see anything wrong with it at all.

If you want to sell it, then sell it. Nobody's gonna hold it against you (at least, I doubt they would over something so silly).

Edit: Oops, Cal summed up all my thoughts pretty well already. Tadaa~
