Is there a way to low Friendship with a Villager?

I think they’re asking to lower friendship with a villager.

well you did get it figured out, but for future record, I'm pretty positive that friendship level doesn't affect moving chances for new horizones

speaking from experience seeing high friendship villagers ask to move at about the same rate as low friendship ones

Here is a good guide to moving villagers out. It says that it takes 10 mins, but I've found that it can take from 10 mins to 9 hours (at least, that's my longest record) so make sure you really want your villager out. Unless you have an amiibo, its very tedious.

This can take a very long time. The most efficient method is by using Amiibo cards. This is why it’s nice to have at least one card of a villager you don’t want. You can use it to kick out villagers.

It's been datamined the higher the friendship you have with a villager the less likely they will want to move out
if you want to kick out a villager and you are doing the natural process of waiting for them to ask to leave or the time travel method for either of those methods it would be advised to do it with a side character who has neutral friendship with everyone so it evens out the chances of [x] villager moving out
villagers with lower friendship do not necessarily have a higher chance to ask to move out, the game has a different system of asking who should move out as explained in a guide an above user shared

I thought the higher the friendship level the chance for them to move out would be higher. My villagers usually start asking to move out after they give me their photo. I was trying to get Azalea to move out and she didn’t ask until the day after she gave me her photo.

I just ignore them or wait for them to call out to me and run over then I just walk off haha

I feel like the move out is completely random. I had one villager only stay for a couple of days before. I found it funny but was fine with it. I didn't care for them.
